Call for Local Volunteers

Until now, it has been difficult for people living outside of the Salt Lake and Provo areas to render volunteer service to the Foundation. That has changed. We have established a system of local volunteers who promote projects in their areas. Once every three months, local volunteers handle a project (set up a fireside, place literature in a public library, help us keep the mailing list current, etc.) In exchange for this service, local volunteers recceive a Monthly Research Update, a couple of free papers every three months and the satisfaction of knowing that they have helped further an important work. If you would like to volunteer in your area, send your name and the name of your LDS Stake to Shannon Magleby, local volunteer coordinator, at the F.A.R.M.S. office in Provo.
